Matthews, Carter, & Boyce, (MC & B) is an accounting, tax planning and financial management services company serving Northern Virginia area businesses and individuals since 1947. Located in Fairfax, VA, MC&B is a medium-sized accounting firm with seven principals and a team of professionals offering careful, individual attention and the highest level of service to each and every client.

They were experiencing challenges in recruiting new talent to their firm and were competing against much larger CPA firms during the college recruiting process. They requested BBG to develop an edgy recruiting brochure, a new Corporate folder and company overview that could be used for recruiting and career opportunity purposes. The materials needed to match with their current logo, color palate and represent their professional & committed culture.

Client: Salzer Technologies

Salzer Technologies is a global offshore outsourcing firm with offices in Chennai, India and in Northern Virginia in the U.S. The firm is a pioneer in effectively providing knowledge management and business intelligence solutions to leading organizations. Previously they were known as Bleuphish Technologies.
In 2006, Salzer group of companies, Coimbatore and Bleuphish Technologies both jointly invested and formed a new company called “Salzer Technologies Ltd".
As a result of this merger the company needed a branding and communications strategy to position themselves in the ever growing outsourcing marketplace. They needed to develop a new brand, brand positioning, messaging, web site and collateral. BBG assisted them in determining there look & feel, their web site & content as well as messaging in this rebranding & relaunch effort.

Client: PMSI

PMSI is the single-source solution for workers’ compensation. Founded in 1976, today PMSI is the nation’s largest full-service network provider of pharmacy, Medicare Set-Asides, medial services and equipment, and clinical services. PMSI promotes quality care of injured workers while helping clients contain costs and control utilization. PMSI is a subsidiary of Amerisource Bergen Corporation ranked #27 in the Fortune 500 list and among the top 5 in the Pharmaceuticals Service Providers category.

PMSI’s Pharmacy Division wanted to launch a new service offering to injured workers whose claims had been settled; called Post Settlement Services. In order to take this service to market they needs a product launch strategy, operational & customer service and fulfillment procedures as well as supporting enrollment forms, collateral and reference guides. BBG served as the project manager for this initiative.

GigaTrust was repositioning their company as an Intelligent Rights Management software provider and needed to revise their marketing strategy. Client: Breaux Vineyards

Breaux Vineyards is one of the largest vineyards in the state of Virginia and one of 17 wineries currently doing business in Loudoun County with over 115 acres of grapes planted. Over the course of the past 18 mon ths, they have sought to create better visibility for their winery and their wines as to communicate that Breaux Vineyards is “A Vineyard for All Seasons and A Wine for all Reasons. The BlackBear Group serves at their adjunct marketing Director and has developed their strategic marketing plan and currently executes all media, ad and PR programs as well as providing ongoing consultative support.

Client: Severn Mortgage

A Loudoun County based full-service mortgage company wanted to expand their presence to other locales and increase their visibility and awareness as well
as elevate the perception that they could handle any financial mortgage challenge and still retain their “personal & home town culture”. The BlackBear Group, in conjunction with GraphixStation devised a messaging and rebranding strategy, along with a new logo, tagline, collateral,etc. that repositioned Severn Mortgage as a leader in local lending.
